PhotoPots moves the photos you choose into pots on your own devices — keep backups of anything irreplaceable. Pro is a subscription ($2.99/month or $29.99/year, with a 7-day free trial) billed and managed by Apple; cancel anytime in your Apple account settings. Use the app lawfully, and email us if anything is unclear.
These Terms govern your use of PhotoPots, an app published by OhhWowLabs.
The app and your data
PhotoPots organizes photos on your Apple devices. The app reads photos you explicitly select, copies them into a per-app sandbox, and (with your confirmation) removes them from your system Photos library. Data syncs across your devices through your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework. We do not host a server, and we have no access to your photos, pots, tags, or search history.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your photos. PhotoPots' local sandbox is included in your iCloud backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled, and the metadata syncs through your private CloudKit database — but we strongly recommend keeping independent backups of irreplaceable photos.
Subscriptions and purchases
PhotoPots is free to install and includes a weekly limit on photo moves. PhotoPots Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that removes the limit:
- Monthly: $2.99/month with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers
- Annual: $29.99/year
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on iPhone, or System Settings → [your name] → Media & Purchases → Manage on Mac. The free trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless cancelled before it ends.
Offboarding Pass is a one-time non-consumable purchase of $1.99 that unlocks unlimited moves for 30 days from purchase. It does not auto-renew.
All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to the Apple Media Services Terms. Refund requests go to Apple, not to us — see reportaproblem.apple.com.
Acceptable use
You may use PhotoPots to organize photos that you have the right to possess and process on your own devices. Don't use the app to handle content that's illegal in your jurisdiction.
Disclaimer
PhotoPots is provided "as is." We make no warranties about fitness for any particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of photos, arising from your use of the app. Keep your own backups.
Changes
If these terms materially change, the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect that, and you will be notified via the app's release notes.
