Open your Camera Roll inside PhotoPots
PhotoPots shows your photo library right in the app. Nothing is imported or uploaded — you browse your own photos, on your own device, and pick what needs a better home.

Drop them into Work, Receipts, Rentals — whatever pots you've named and colored. Need a new one? Make it on the spot, right from the picker.

Done — originals leave the Camera Roll
This is the part that matters: sorting moves the photo. The original is removed from your library and lives safely inside the app, synced through your iCloud — GPS and metadata untouched.
Sorting is free up to 25 photos a week. Need more? Pro removes the limit.

The pot picker lives in the viewfinder. Swipe between Work and Personal before you shoot — not in a cleanup session three weeks later.

Shoot like normal. Crop and edit right there — PhotoPots keeps the GPS location and the rest of the metadata intact through every edit, so the record stays trustworthy.

It lands in the pot — never the Camera Roll
The photo goes straight into the pot you picked. Nothing appears in Recents, nothing sneaks into Memories, nothing gets mixed into family photos. It never touches your Camera Roll at all.

What happens to my photos?
Fair question — you're trusting an app with your pictures. Here's exactly where they live.
Where the files live
Photos you sort or capture move into PhotoPots' own container on your device. They're out of the Camera Roll, but they're not "in the cloud" with us — we don't run photo servers and never see your pictures.
Inside the app they behave like normal photos: view, crop, edit, search with OCR, and share anywhere with one tap.
How iCloud sync works
Your pots sync across iPhone, iPad, and Mac through your own private iCloud account — the same mechanism that syncs your notes and documents. Sort a photo on your phone at the job site and it's in the same pot on your Mac when you're back at your desk.
Sync follows your iCloud settings and availability. No PhotoPots account, no extra login, nothing to manage.
If you delete the app
Honest answer: deleting PhotoPots removes its container from that device, and we can't promise what iCloud retains afterward or for how long. Your Camera Roll photos are untouched either way.
So before deleting, keep the app installed on at least one device — or share your pots out first. One-tap share makes exporting painless.
No servers
Your photos never pass through anything we operate. There is no PhotoPots cloud to breach.

Do sorted photos disappear from my Camera Roll?
Yes — and that's the point. Sorting moves the original into the pot; it isn't hidden or copied. Your Camera Roll gets lighter, and the photo lives inside PhotoPots with its GPS and metadata intact. You can share it back out or move it to another pot anytime.
Does the in-app camera also save to my Camera Roll?
No. Photos taken with the PhotoPots camera land directly in the pot you picked and never touch your Camera Roll at all — nothing in Recents, nothing in Memories, nothing mixed into family photos.
What happens to my photos if I delete the app?
Your pots live in PhotoPots' container on your device and sync through your private iCloud. Deleting the app removes its container from that device, and we can't guarantee what iCloud keeps afterward — so keep the app installed on at least one device, or export your pots before deleting.
