Why a weekly limit?

Because we wanted Free to be genuinely free — not a 7-day trial with a countdown timer. Most people sort a handful of photos here and there, and 25 a week covers that comfortably. If you sort photos for work every day — contractors documenting job sites, agents shooting listings, inspectors filing reports — that's real, daily value, and Pro is how you pay for it.

The limit resets every week and never expires, so Free never quietly turns into a paywall. Want to see what a "sort" actually does before you count them? Here's how sorting works — the short version: the photo moves into the pot, and the original leaves your Camera Roll. Gone from the mess, kept in the right place.

And a promise, in plain words: no dark patterns. No fake discounts, no countdown timers, no hiding the cancel button. The free tier stays free, and Pro cancels in a few taps. That's the whole trick — there isn't one.

Questions

Pricing questions, straight answers

Billing, restoring, canceling — the stuff nobody likes reading about, written like we'd want to read it. More questions? The full FAQ covers the app itself.

Is the free version really free forever?

Yes. Free isn't a trial that expires — it's a real plan. You get 25 sorts a week, unlimited pots, capture straight into a pot, iCloud sync, and all the core features, forever. The limit resets every week and never turns into a paywall.

What happens when I hit the 25-sort weekly limit?

Nothing scary. The limit only applies to sorting existing Camera Roll photos into pots — everything else keeps working. Sorting picks up again when your week resets, and the app shows you exactly when that is. No surprise charges, and photos you already sorted stay right where you put them.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Anytime, in a few taps: on your iPhone or Mac go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or open the App Store app. Canceling stops the next renewal — you keep Pro until the current period ends, and everything in your pots stays exactly where it is. No retention flows, no guilt trips.

Can I restore my purchase on a new device?

Yes. Pro is tied to your Apple ID, so it follows you to any iPhone, iPad, or Mac signed into the same account. On a new device, open PhotoPots, go to the upgrade screen, and tap Restore Purchases. No codes, no emails to support.

Does Pro support Family Sharing?

Yes — Pro works with Apple's Family Sharing, so up to six family members can use it under one subscription. Each person keeps their own private library and pots; only the subscription is shared. Manage it like any other subscription in your App Store settings.
